This was a special day. Riley and Daddy played their first round of golf together. Riley even made a hole in one. I was not invited but I made sure to send the camera. That night we had movie night and watch Monsters, Inc. Since that night Riley talks about how he is not scared of monsters and they are just pretend. He also has "dreams" about Mike and Sully. Usually Russell and I are in those dreams as well. it just depends on who asks him about his dreams. 

March 16, 2011-Going to the Zoo

Russell was on spring break this week so we took advantage of it and spent as much time with Daddy as possible and doing lots of fun stuff. I worked out my schedule and had thursday and friday off and it was so nice to spend these days as a family. We started Thursday of with a special breakfast of nutella and fruit. It was Riley's first time to eat this hazelnut goodness and he loved it. Then we headed to KM class with Daddy and then to the zoo. It really was a perfect day!

The big boys were at a game on this particular Friday so Grammy came over for dinner. It was a wonderful night of fun and good conversation. I happen to have the best mother in law in the world so spending time with her is always a joy. Riley seems to enjoy just as much!

Riley was nice enough to let me sleep in until 7:30 today and he fed himself breakfast. Now if only I could teach him how to turn on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse life would be good. Haha

In case you hadn't figured it out those were once cupcakes. He was also super neat. Unwrapped each cupcake put the paper in the trash and barely got any crumbs anywhere. It is never a dull moment around here.

Today we spent the day in Gilmer with mimi and papa. This is the only picture I managed to get. He did spend a lot of time on the horse though.

Today Riley got a boo boo on his finger and I had no bandaids. It was a really bad boo boo. He had scratched it on our gate in the back yard. I did have some gauze and the wrapping stuff so this was the best I could do and it made him feel all better.

We are still potty training and suckers are a big deal cause that mean that we made it to the potty to poo poo. We don't make it there all the time, but sometimes is better than none...right?

Happy Birthday Baby Cousin Elliott

Sunday we celebrated the 1st birthday of my sweet nephew. On the way to the party Riley was practicing singing him Happy Birthday and he would sing it to baby cousin Elliott. It was pretty cute in the car. Flat Caleb came for the party as well.

Cake Class Final

Saturday was my last day of cake class for a while. I would like to take more classes, I just need to wait until after softball season. So here is my final cake. We learned how to make flowers.
