Well, I tried to blog earlier this week, but blogger wanted to nothing to do with loading my pictures for me. So here we are with an even longer post now. Enjoy!

My fabulous sister-in-law came in last weekend to help me paint baby furniture. She is the furniture re-doer in the family so I couldn't have done it without her. We had soooo much fun. She came in on Friday and we grabbed some dinner and then let her catch up on some sleep. On Saturday we ran and got supplies and then holed ourselves away in the garage for the afternoon. It was a little chilly outside so we did as much as we could with the door down, but don't worry we opened it once we started painting. Here are just a few pictures of the process. It started off just plain white and we changed it to antique lace. These two pieces will be going in the babies room along with a darker brown/cherry crib and bookcase. I hope they look well together.

Here is the first of the few other things. Russell finally decided that it was time for the summer face to come out and for the beard to go. So here he is with the full beard.

Russell and one of his co-teachers decided that Thursday and Friday before spring break they would sport this lovely look. Doesn't he look so handsome with his mustache. Needless to say, I did not go anywhere with him while this was on his face.
This week we had open house at school. A few weeks ago we got new bulliten boards put up around the school. One of them just happened to be across from my room, therefore I was responsible for decorating it. I thought it turned out pretty stinking cute and I wanted to show everyone! Mine might have been the cutest bulliten board in the whole school.
On Friday Russell and I had two surprise visitors. Rachel had to take Clint to the airport because he was headed to Mexico for the week. So she called and asked is she could come by and kill some time. I said sure come on over. So we got some free entertainment that night from Roselyn.
Roselyn started off the night eating and drinking. She finally got bored with that and just started playing with the straw. Well, she spilt a little bit of water on herself, so we wound up with clothes in the drier and Roselyn running around in her diaper for the rest of the night.
She really liked Russell that night. By the end of the night she was even calling him "Parky" which I think was short for Sparky. I was very impressed with Clint and Rach's intelligent child. Here Roselyn is even reading to Russell.
After exploring the apt. for about an hour Roselyn finally found Oscar the fish. She said "HIIIII!!" and was even able to say fish. She would also try to make a fish lips, but it was mostly a kissy noise. At one point she almost tipped the whole thing over because she wanted to touch the fish.

Well, that about does it for now. Russell and I are on Spring Break this week and so we are going to head to Tyler and see our folks for a few days. My sister in is town also so I should get some great pictures with the kids. I have a DR. appointment tomorrow and I am going to try to pack up some of the stuff in the office that will be the babies room. With all of that going on this will probably be a really quick break. I plan on enjoying every minute of it though. Oh, I almost forgot this fun and exciting thing we did this week. On Saturday we went to a childbirth class. It was a very long, informative day. We might be on labor and delivery overload right now. Luckily we took it early enough that everything I learned that scared me yesterday I might be able to forget before the actual birth happens. We shall see though!
If you know my husband at all then you know that he likes the Dave Matthews Band. If you know my husband really well, then you know DMB is a little bit of an obsession. I didn't know they made onesies, but I think this one is pretty stinking cute. I thought it definately deserved a post all by itself. This was his first purchase for our little boy. Good job Dad!
