On December 23 we had tickets to take Riley to ride the polar express thanks to Grammy and Grandy (Russell's parents). The Texas state railroad offers different promotions throughout the year. We started the ride in Palestine and then rode to the North Pole. Santa got on at the north pole and rode back with us. We had hot chocolate, a rice crispie treat and listened to the Polar Express story on the way to the North Pole. On the way back Santa gave out bells from his sleigh and we sang Christmas carols. Riley was excited from the minute we said anything about trains and I think he had the time of his life. I enjoyed getting to capture all of his many different faces. Thank you Grammy and Grandy for a wonderful day.
This is right when we get on and he was in heaven.
We gave him his ticket.
After he got his bell from Santa.
